A superb two days were had at the ESAA Nationals in Birmingham over the last two days. All athletes were impeccably behaved and were a credit to their families and schools.
I would like to thank the staff volunteers who gave their time so the North Yorkshire athletes could attend the event.
As is suggested at the parade, it is not the winning that matters but the taking part, and to be a champion, you have to first be a qualifier. So congratulations to the 37 athletes who represented North Yorkshire over the last two days.
Results are below and of course, special congratulations to the Ethan and Jess who became National Champions, Ethan for the third time, a superb achievement. Also to Luke who came second. Luke and Ethan now go to Swansea next weekend to represent England in the SIAB International meeting against, Wales, Ireland and Scotland.
